Nissan OEM Catalog: 1997 R33 Skyline Options - with Bonus

The difference between the 1996 and 1997 catalogs were minor (nothing new for the non-GT-Rs other than a Momo steering wheel just like the one for the GT-R, and a red flashlight to keep inside the car), so I only scanned in the pages involving the GT-R.

Also, the catalog I ordered came with bonus material - a one page ad for aluminum wheels made by Altia.

Hi Aki,
Do you know the Nissan part number for the R33 GTR Momo steering wheel shown in the catalogue?
Best regards,
Jack

Hi Jack,

The part is listed as "no longer available" unfortunately. List price was as you see, 62,600 yen!

I actually have one in great shape that I got off Yahoo Auctions... if you're interested I might be willing to part with it under the right conditions, let me know, lol!

Hi Aki,

Thanks for your extremely knowledgeable feed back.

I already have this wheel for my Series 3 R33 GTR and just wanted to know the Nissan Part Number in case I needed spare parts in the future. (which I doubt are available anyway).

Best regards,

Jack

@Jack, So you managed to find this elusive steering wheel at last? So I guess I will not be seeing you this year but will love to hear how you came by one! Best wishes to you and yours.
Aki, you have one and don't use it? Why?! These are certainly in the realms of 'special things'

LOL Yes Karl, and that is why I got it... but then realized that size-wise, it was about the same as the OEM. I wanted smaller, which is why I ended up fitting the Ital Volanti one.

Hi Karl, I might have guessed you would have noticed this thread. Yes, the steering wheel was very hard to get and is one of a few new goodies being fitted at the current time.
Anyway Sir, why do you think you won't be seeing me this year? I'll be at most venues along with the usual culprits.

See you soon and thanks again to Aki for knowledgeable feedback.

@ Aki: Yes I agree on size. It's still 'sexy' and I like the fact it has an airbag!

@ Jack, haha well I meant more you trying to prise my steering wheel off now that you have one!
